Lip filler at O Body + Wellness uses hyaluronic acid to add volume, improve symmetry, and refine lip shape with clinical precision. Our injectors work with your natural anatomy — the goal is always lips that look like yours at their best, not a result that announces itself.
We use Juvederm and Restylane formulations selected specifically for lip tissue. Different products offer different viscosities and integration characteristics. Your injector selects the appropriate formulation based on your current anatomy, your goals, and whether you are adding volume, refining shape, or correcting asymmetry.
Lip filler is one of the most technique-dependent treatments we offer. The difference between a natural result and an overdone one comes down to injection depth, placement, and volume per session. We take a conservative, anatomy-led approach by design — you can always add volume at your next session. The goal is always a result that fits you.

Lip assessment
We review your lip anatomy, discuss proportional goals, and select the appropriate product and volume plan. Every plan is built around your specific anatomy.

Numbing and treatment
Topical numbing cream is applied for 15 to 20 minutes before injection. The treatment takes 15 to 30 minutes depending on the plan.

Swelling and settling
Expect swelling for 24 to 72 hours post-treatment. Final results settle at 7 to 14 days. We recommend scheduling at least three weeks before any event.

How long does lip filler last?
Hyaluronic acid lip fillers typically last 6 to 12 months depending on the product used, the volume placed, and how your body metabolizes the material. Lips tend to metabolize filler faster than other facial areas due to movement. Regular maintenance appointments extend your results over time.
Does lip filler hurt?
Most patients find the treatment very tolerable. We apply a topical numbing cream for 15 to 20 minutes before treatment, and most hyaluronic acid fillers contain lidocaine which provides additional comfort during injection. Some mild discomfort is normal at injection points.
Will my lips look natural?
Our approach is anatomy-led and conservative. We work with your existing lip structure — the goal is proportion and enhancement, not transformation. First-time patients typically start with 0.5 to 1ml to ensure the result fits their face before adding more at a follow-up if desired.
Can I get lip filler if I have never had filler before?
Yes. Lip filler is a common first filler treatment. We take extra time with new patients to explain the process, set realistic expectations, and ensure you are comfortable with the plan before proceeding. There is no pressure to add more than what fits your goals.
How much filler will I need?
This depends on your starting anatomy and goals. Most patients begin with 0.5 to 1ml. We assess your lips at your appointment and recommend a specific volume based on your anatomy and the result you are describing. We do not use more product than is appropriate for your proportions.
Can lip filler be reversed?
Yes. Hyaluronic acid fillers can be dissolved with hyaluronidase, an enzyme that breaks down the material quickly. Reversal is rarely needed, but the option exists. This is one of the reasons we use hyaluronic acid products exclusively for lip augmentation.
